Born in 1973 in Nová Paka, Czech Republic, he is a poet, performer, and essayist with a focus on Art Brut. He studied Czech Studies and Philosophy at Charles University in Prague, completing his studies with a doctorate on Czech surrealist poetry. In 2026, he defended his dissertation in Comparative Literature on the subject of »écrits bruts.« (Warm congratulations!)

He has worked, among other roles, as a curator for the »Galerie Art brut Praha« and for a non-profit organization supporting people with mental illness. Numerous volumes of his poetry have been published since 1990, most recently »Pouzdří« (Argo Verlag, 2025).
